Table presentation and flower arrangement

I had to create a table presentation with a matched flower arrangement for my previous study, which I completed in 2020. The table presentation with floral arrangements was based on a forecasting trend in which I also did research of.

Today we live in a socially engineered world. The perfect picture counts and that is also what we bring out. The world is so focused on perfection. There is a new need for authenticity, characterized by freedom, imperfection and not wanting to conform to expectations. The rules are let go of a bit more. Standards that seemed self-evident are being broken.
It is striking that an enormous wave of womenpower emerges. Resistance to the 'perfect picture' is growing. This protest against the so-called expectation pattern we see not only in women, but also in consumers in general. From fashion, street and urban influences are coming that are change. This goes hand in hand with an attention to a colorful and tough, industrial design.

Color: In this trend, color plays an important role. The color palette is inspired by the bright colors of graffiti. Constrating and powerful colors suit this trend. This is combined with concrete gray, natural beige and industrial black.

Basic colors: Bright pink, sunflower yellow, carrot orange.
Accent colors: Royal blue, light pink, natural beige, concrete gray, industrial black.

Materials: This trend involves the use of a lot of industrial materials: especially metal and plastic. For accessories are also natural materials such as wood and rubber.

Form: In this trend the forms are mainly industrial, irregular and imperfect. Sometimes the products seem to be utensils, which have previously had a different destination. Many straight shapes and angles, combined with round shapes.

Innovation: The urban style in this trend is something we haven't seen before. The graffiti like designs, and stain-drop patterns totally fit the urban style. In the field of plants and flowers you see a lot of colored leaves. A new technique to this trend is graffiti.

I want to come back to authenticity and imperfection with my design. We live in a makeable world nowadays, where perfection is standard. Or the perfect picture'. We want to strive for authenticity and not necessarily want to meet the expectation pattern. The rules are released a little more.
I want to translate this into my design. What you can see in my design is that I want to put the focus on the imperfection, and that the rules are a little more loose. I'm talking here mainly about the rules of a classic table presentation.
Through my interest and passion for art (history) I was inspired by the art paintings in the church. Especially the new modern painting in
the church attracted me. The image in the painting was just a little different than it 'should' be. There were goats depicted instead of sheep. They were doing their own thing and all walking in different directions, against the expectation.
The style of the painting also had urban influences. Through the lettering, the colors and the design. This is why I thought it was extra cool because in this way my design also fit in with the paintings in the church. In this way the paintings of the church also fit with my social trend and trend forecast. Because the exam is taken at a certain location, I thought it was important that there was a connection between my design and the location. I did this with the paintings in the church.  I also thought about the piece of sustainability that I wanted to incorporate into my design.
